If you miss a lesson at LanguageBird, here’s what to expect and how you can manage your schedule moving forward.
Missed a lesson? Check your status.If you miss your class, your instructor will mark it as Absent in MyLanguageBird. You’ll see this reflected on your Lessons page with an "Absent" tag.
You will also receive a notification via email.
Rescheduling lessons
If you know you will be absent 24 hours or more in advance, to avoid a fee or forfeiture of the lesson, you need to reschedule. Follow these steps:
- Go to the Calendar or Lessons page.
- Find the missed lesson.
- Click the three dots next to it and select "Reschedule."
You’ll be able to choose a new date and time based on your instructor’s availability.
If no times work, choose “Add after my last scheduled lesson” to move the session to the end of your program.
Know the Policy
Instructional Lessons: Being tardy, missing, or rescheduling a lesson less than 24 hours before the start time will result in a $100 fee.
Tutoring, Conversational, Test Prep, and Mastery Lessons: Being tardy, missing, or rescheduling a lesson less than 24 hours before the start time are not rescheduled or refunded.
